Water Proof Jackets for Women [Buyers Guide]

Waterproof jackets are designed to remove interior moisture vapor and prevent the entry of moisture from the outside. These jackets have become parts of our lives and they are inevitable especially for people living in harsh climates. Some of these jackets have even evolved to be a fashion statement. Either way, you need the bests of them.

When looking out for good waterproof jackets there are five features to watch out for. They include the fabric, hood, seam taping, pockets, and zips.

A quality waterproof jacket should have a 3-layer fabric. But if you prefer a lightweight jacket then you can go for a 2.5 layer. The hood should have a good shaping, neat volume and side adjustments, useful peak, allow peripheral vision, no loose cords, and should allow good head movement. x

You definitely will prefer a narrow seam taping as this will make you more comfortable. Also, check the pockets, they should be easily accessible. Some brands do not put chest pockets for women while others do. You can choose between a side pocket and a chest pocket. The zips must be water-resistant. If the zips are laminated then they aren’t waterproof.
