Trailers are essential for hauling climbing gear and firewood up rocky dirt roads. Your work will be made easier with the right trailer to carry your load. In this article, we will be looking at the top three bike cargo trailers for you.

1. BOB Ibex

The BOB Ibex Plus is a single-wheel bike cargo trailer designed to handle rough terrain with ease. Weighing in at about 20 pounds (9 kg), it offers a cargo capacity of 70 pounds (32 kilograms) to the trailer frame and features three inches of adjustable suspension (7.6 cm of travel) to smooth out bumps and potholes along the way.

Specification Details
Weight 20 lbs (9 kg)
Cargo Capacity 70 lbs (32 kg)
Suspension Travel 3 inches (7.6 cm)
Wheel Compatibility 20″ to 28″
Price $439

The trailer attaches to bicycles with wheel sizes between 20 and 28 inches, making it compatible with most standard bikes. Assembly is straightforward, and once attached, the BOB Ibex trailer specifications deliver excellent tracking on trails and roads alike.

You’ll glide over rough patches without much trouble, though keep in mind the single rear suspension wheel requires a kickstand or support when loading. Pack your gear evenly across the frame to maintain stability and prevent wobbling during your ride.

2. Aosom Wanderer

Cargo trailers should be easy to assemble, and the Aosom Wanderer is no exception. Aosom is also durable and has excellent tracking due to its spring connection. However, this trailer may rattle when it is empty, is heavy, and may rotate forward sometimes.

3. Burley Coho

This cargo weighs 70 pounds and is equipped with adjustable suspension. The tracking is excellent, and it can stand by itself. But this brand is heavy and can be wobbly if the load is not evenly packed.
