For several years, we have combed the market of satellite messengers looking for the best three. This selection is comprehensive, unbiased, comparative, and clear. To get a great review for you we used, tested, and investigated each of these devices.

Here are our top 3 picks.

1. Garmin Inreach

After careful consideration, our group ranked this as one of the best messengers for custom texting. Garmin has a battery life of 50 hours. It provides awesome two-sided messaging.

It is light and small with a smartphone interface that works well. But note that it allows only satellite texting with no continuity in wifi/cell. Also, using this device may be tedious.

2. Bivystick Blue

This satellite messenger is high-functioning and comprehensive. It has a battery life of 120 hours. Its shape is smooth and compact with some tracking options. However, there are limited plans for the subscription.

3. Somewear Global

Our list couldn’t be complete without this hot-spot device that has global coverage and a battery life that allows 1000 messages. It is light and compact with a proven SOS dispatch and satellite network.

With Somewear Global you need a smartphone for messaging. The subscription options are affordable and flexible. It is also less expensive when compared to the alternatives.
