Top 3 Crash Bouldering Pad

February 12, 20210

We have a team of four great climbers who tested and reviewed several crash pads for us. These are the top three that passed the test.

1. Mad Rock

Mad rock has a pad thickness of five inches with a weight of seventeen pounds. You will find its thick foam make for a comfortable landing and has a plush suspension.

There is a strap system feature that allows you to carry a necessary second pad. Other great features include a mat for show wiping and couch straps. However, this foam may not be the best for having shortfalls.

2. Organic simple

This is one of the best the foam industry has to offer. It is great for carrying gear and its material is super durable. The backpack straps are robust. However, this crash bouldering pad lacks some extra features that other foams have and its price is very high. Our reviewers were only able to hold a tiny backpack in it.

3. Mad Pad Mad Rock

This pad comes with couch straps, thick foam and is relatively inexpensive. The construction is durable but it is not the best option for gear carrying. Its make-up gives extra confidence but you may not be able to get more than a little day back in the pad.
